This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

This page explains what personal data we collect when you use the magewize.fr website, why, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

1. Data controller

MAGEWIZE, a Simplified joint-stock company with a sole shareholder (SASU), 9 Allée Jacques Laloë, 94200 Ivry-sur-Seine, Créteil Trade and Companies Register (RCS) no. 948 593 801. Contact for any question about personal data: contact@magewize.fr. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as such an appointment is not mandatory for our activity.

2. Data collected, purposes and legal bases

  • Contact form (name, business email, company, website address, subject, message): to answer your request and, where applicable, prepare a quote. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. Name, email and message are mandatory: without them we cannot process your request.
  • Free diagnostic (website address, business email, platform): to carry out the preliminary analysis you requested and send you the result. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the checkbox, which you may withdraw at any time. The website address and email are mandatory.
  • Email or telephone exchanges (contact details, content of the exchanges): to follow up the business relationship and perform the services. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps, performance of the contract and legitimate interest.
  • Site security (IP address, technical connection data, access logs): to protect the site and the forms against abuse and bots, and to diagnose incidents. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
  • Audience measurement: when enabled, we use a tool that uses no cookies or persistent identifiers, which cannot track you from one site to another or identify you. It is used only to know how many people visit the site.

The forms are intended for professionals. We do not sell any data, we carry out no automated prospecting, no automated decision-making and no profiling. You will not receive a newsletter without your separate consent.

3. Cookies and trackers

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and therefore displays no consent banner. The Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot check displayed on the forms is a security service: it is used only to tell a human visitor from a robot. If we ever add a tool that requires your consent, we will ask for it before anything is set and we will update this page.

4. Retention periods

  • Contact and diagnostic requests that led nowhere: three years after the last exchange.
  • Requests that led to a contract: for the duration of the contractual relationship, then in accordance with legal retention periods (for example ten years for accounting records).
  • Technical security logs: a limited period, set by our host according to the tool used.

You may ask for your data to be deleted before these dates, unless the law requires us to keep it.

5. Recipients and processors

Only MAGEWIZE has access to the requests received. We use the following providers, who process data on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare, Inc.: site hosting, content delivery network, protection against abuse and the Turnstile anti-bot check.
  • Resend, Inc.: delivery of the emails generated by the forms.
  • OVHcloud: the company's email service (receiving and sending emails).

We may also disclose data to the authorities where the law requires it.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Cloudflare, Inc. and Resend, Inc. are established in the United States. These transfers are governed by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which Cloudflare adheres, or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. You can obtain a copy by writing to contact@magewize.fr.

7. Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. The forms are protected against bots, access to requests is limited to MAGEWIZE and mailboxes are protected by authentication.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time and to set directives on what happens to your data after your death. To exercise them, write to contact@magewize.fr. We reply within one month and may ask for proof of identity in case of doubt.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr/en/complaints.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update it, for example when we add a service. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
